The Phantoms will play Albany, the New Jersey Devils' AHL affiliate, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. It is open to the public and free.

The Phantoms' lineup will include Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier, Zac Rinaldo, Eric Wellwood, Marc-Andre Bourdon, Harry Zolnierczyk and Erik Gustafsson, all of whom spent considerable time with the Flyers last season.

The Oct. 11 NHL openers and the first few weeks of the season are expected to be canceled later this week. Representatives of the owners and players will meet Tuesday in New York.

"Even if we get a deal in the next couple of days, I don't think we will start on time anyway," Flyer Danny Briere said. "I really believe the regular season will be canceled for the month of October."

Date set. The court date for Nick Cousins, selected by the Flyers in the third round of the 2011 draft, and two other Sault Ste. Marie teammates was rescheduled from Monday to Nov. 5. The OHL players had been accused of sexual assault in August.
