Lucic sidelined again
Boston Bruins left winger Milan Lucic is out again, sidelined up to four weeks with a sprained left ankle.Lucic, who signed a three-year contract extension earlier in the season, missed 14 games with a broken finger.
He had played just four games since returning from the finger injury and scored goals in two of the last three games.
He has 27 goals and 47 assists in two-plus seasons.
Wild injuries
The Minnesota Wild placed right winger Martin Havlat and defenseman Brent Burns on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 18.Burns has been feeling the effects of a concussion and also had an illness this week. Havlat has been hampered by a hamstring injury.
Havlat has been a disappointment after being signed to help make up for the scoring lost when Marian Gaborik left for the New York Rangers. He has two goals and six assists in 19 games.
Defenseman Jaime Sifers was recalled from the Wild's AHL affiliate in Houston to help fill in for Burns.

Edmonton right winger Ales Hemsky will have surgery to repair his left shoulder after getting hurt Wednesday night when he was hit from behind by Los Angeles' Michal Handzus during a loss to the Kings. . . . The Colorado Avalanche placed defenseman Adam Foote on injured reserve, retroactive to Nov. 17, because of a jaw injury.- Associated Press
