Mats Sundin's agent said the Flyers are among six NHL teams interested in acquiring the Toronto Maple Leafs center, according to The Sports Network.
Agent J.P. Barry told the Canadian-based TSN that the New York Rangers, Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks and two teams he did not name also are interested in landing the 37-year-old Swedish center, who is considered to be the last prime free agent on the market. Barry denied a report that Sundin wants to join the Rangers.
Sundin had 32 goals and 46 assists in 74 games last season. In his 17-year NHL career, Sundin has played in 1,305 games, with 555 goals and 766 assists. *
