Goaltender Boucher returns to Phila.

Goaltender Brian Boucher is back in the Flyers' fold after signing a minor-league contract with the Phantoms yesterday. In 103 regular-season games with the Flyers from 1999 to 2002, Boucher was 46-38-12 with a 2.45 goals-against average and seven shutouts. He helped lead the Flyers to the 2000 Eastern Conference finals.

In 103 regular-season games with the Flyers from 1999 to 2002, Boucher was 46-38-12 with a 2.45 goals-against average and seven shutouts. He helped lead the Flyers to the 2000 Eastern Conference finals.

Boucher, 30, played in 18 games last season with the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets, going 2-11-3 with a 3.34 GAA. He also has played for Phoenix and Calgary. He is 77-96-33 with a 2.79 GAA and 13 shutouts in seven NHL seasons.

The Flyers also signed Claude Giroux, their first-round draft pick in 2006, to an entry-level contract.

Giroux, 19, had 48 goals and 64 assists last season for the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
