The Calgary Flames signed captain Jarome Iginla and assistant captain Robyn Regehr to 5-year contract extensions that begin following the 2007-08 season.

Iginla, a forward who turned 30 on Sunday, led the Flames with 39 goals and 94 points in 70 games last season despite a leg injury. He could have become an unrestricted free agent after next season.
