Flyers sign first-round pick Laughton; Re-sign Bourdon

The Flyers have signed Scott Laughton, the team's first-round pick, to an entry level deal, the team announced.

The Flyers selected Laughton, who spent last season with Oshawa of the OHL, with the 20th pick in June's draft. A 6-foot, 177-pound defenseman, Laughton scored 53 points (21 goals) and had 101 penalty minutes last season with Oshawa.

In addition, the team re-signed Marc-Andre Bourdon to a multi-year extension. Bourdon, a 22-year-old defenseman, netted four goals and three assists in 45 games with the Flyers last season.
