Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will be in the lineup as expected for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Jeffery was questionable for the game with an ankle injury, but he and coach Doug Pederson said he would play. Now it's official that he will.

Cornerback Ronald Darby is back in the lineup after missing eight games with an ankle injury. Tight end Zach Ertz also returns after missing one game with a hamstring injury. Neither player was on the final injury report.

The Eagles added veteran offensive tackle Will Beatty and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe during the week, but both players are inactive for their first games with the Eagles. Running back Wendell Smallwood is a healthy scratch, evidence that he's the odd man out in the running back rotation.

The Eagles' inactives are Beatty, Ellerbe, Smallwood, wide receiver Shelton Gibson, defensive end Steven Means, defensive tackle Elijah Qualls, and quarterback Nate Sudfeld.

Isaac Seumalo and Chance Warmack are the backup offensive linemen on Sunday. Joe Walker remains the starting middle linebacker.

The Cowboys will miss left tackle Tyron Smith, who is inactive for the second consecutive week. He was questionable for the game with a groin injury. The Cowboys allowed eight sacks last week in his absence. Linebacker Sean Lee was already declared out. Safety Jeff Heath is out with a concussion.
