Doug Pederson

UP – The Eagles are 4-1 for the first time since 2014 and the head coach deserves credit. The Cardinals played some wretched football, but Pederson's crew delivered its best all-around performance this season.

Torrey Smith

UP – The wide receiver said he was mired in one of his worst slumps. Four drops in the first four games was enough evidence. But Smith came through on Sunday with a 59-yard touchdown catch — his first with the Eagles.

Bruce Arians

DOWN – The former Temple coach had his Cardinals lodge in Conshohocken rather than on the Owls' campus, where he has previously had his team stay. It's doubtful the switch had any anything to do with the lackluster effort, but Arizona stunk as bad as the Boathouse at closing time.

Carson Wentz

UP – Four touchdowns. 70 percent completion percentage. 10.1 yards per pass attempt. And only one interception. Wentz had the best statistical game of his young NFL career.

Kenjon Barner

UP – His 76-yard punt return set up the Eagles' second touchdown, and with Wendell Smallwood sidelined, Barner chipped in with five rushes for 23 yards.

Malcolm Jenkins

UP – With 26 seconds left in the first half, Larry Fitzgerald caught his first pass. The entire defense earned kudos for limiting the future Hall of Fame receiver, but Jenkins gets a gold star for shadowing Fitzgerald out of the slot.

Jim Schwartz

UP – The defensive coordinator dialed up several different looks in the secondary, and Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was confounded for most of the game.

Nelson Agholor

UP – Meanwhile, James Bettcher, Schwartz's counterpart, called a suspect defense. His zero blitz on third-and-19 was egregious and resulted in Agholor's 72-yard touchdown catch. But props to Wentz, who delivered a strike, and to his receiver, who broke a tackle after the grab.

Patrick Robinson

UP – He has been arguably the Eagles' best cornerback this season. Schwartz trusted Robinson enough to play him more on the outside, and he came through with three pass breakups. But his blocked field goal before the half was huge.

Brandon Graham and Vinny Curry

UP – The Cardinals offensive line was battered, but Graham and Curry each had a sack and made multiple stops against the run.

Nigel Bradham

UP – The linebacker had his struggles in the first four games, but he was all over the gridiron on Sunday. Bradham led the Eagles with eight tackles — five of them solos.

Baseball celebration

DOWN – We're all for bringing some fun back into the NFL, but the Eagles' celebration following Smith's touchdown felt a little too staged.

Nestea plunge

UP – Agohlor's backward flop into the end zone wasn't exactly original — DeSean Jackson took the plunge against the Cowboys years back — but it was spontaneous.
