Breaking down the Eagles' wide receivers

JASON AVANT

He has managed to up his numbers in each of his six seasons in the NFL, but costly fumbles and a lack of production in the red zone could have the Eagles looking for another slot receiver.

RILEY COOPER

The size is there (6-foot-3, 222 pounds), and he had a few moments last season, but he hasn't turned into that red-zone threat some thought he could be.

MARTY GILYARD

Signed in January after a season out of the NFL, he has experience returning kicks and could help in that area.

CHAD HALL

His versatility has kept him on the 53-man roster for most of the last two seasons, but this feel-good story might have reached its end.

JAMEL HAMLER

A late season addition to the practice squad, he was signed to a reserve/future contract in January.

DESEAN JACKSON

Will the five-year, $51 million deal he inked in March make Jackson a happy camper and compel him to catch balls over the middle? Time will tell.

RON JOHNSON

Drafted in the sixth round by the 49ers a year ago, he spent most of last season on the practice squad.

JEREMY MACLIN

If it weren't for shoulder/hamstring injuries that kept him out of three games, Maclin would have likely gone over 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career.
