Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman, second left, and Michael Bennett greet Philadelphia Eagles Torrey Smith (82) and Chris Long after an NFL football game, Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, in Seattle.

The Eagles will add yet another fearsome defensive lineman in Michael Bennett to their front-four, according to Zach Berman and Jeff McLane’s reporting.

The trade can’t be made official until next week, but it looks like the Eagles will be sending a fifth-round pick and wide receiver Marcus Johnson to the Seahawks for the three-time Pro Bowler Michael Bennett and a seventh-round pick.

Several Eagles took to Twitter to welcome their new teammate, and Bennett — well-known for his speaking out for racial equality and social justice — identified the first cause he may take up during his time in Philly.
