Sixteen of the NFL’s 32 teams have a winning record in the Super Bowl era, which started when the NFL champion Green Bay Packers met the AFL champion Kansas City Chiefs after the 1966 season. The Eagles are one of those 16 teams, and they are also one of only two teams with a winning record in that time frame that has not won the Super Bowl. The other team is the Minnesota Vikings, whom the Eagles beat in the NFC championship game to reach Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots. That game, of course, is being played on the Vikings’ home field – U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
