Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone. Here's some stats to get you ready for tonight's Eagles-Raiders game:

Running strong

— The Eagles are second in the NFL in rushing, averaging 140.5 yards per game. But they've had just one individual 100-yard rushing performance this season. That was by LeGarrette Blount, who rushed for 136 yards on 16 carries against the Chargers in Week 4

— Jay Ajayi is averaging 5.9 yards per carry on first down (29 carries-172 yards), 7.4 on second down (22-162), 5.0 on third down (4-20) and 2.0 on fourth down (1-2).

— Ajayi has 10 runs of 10 or more yards on 56 carries. As a team, the Eagles have 62 double-digit-yard runs. That's the most in the league.

— In their last six games, the Eagles have averaged 155.5 rushing yards per game and 5.0 yards per carry.

Converting on third down

— The Eagles are second in the league in third-down efficiency. They've converted 45.4 percent of their third-down opportunities, including 65.4 percent of their third downs of three yards or less (36 of 55).

— Last year, Carson Wentz threw just three touchdown passes on third down. This year, Wentz had an NFL-high 14 before he got hurt. Nick Foles had his first third-down TD pass against the Giants last week.

— Wentz had a league-best 128.7 third-down passer rating before his injury. Sixty-two of his 124 third-down pass attempts, or 50 percent, resulted in first downs. Foles is 9-for-13 for 69 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions on third down.

Shotgun marriage

— The Eagles have run 957 plays in their first 14 games. Six hundred fifty-five of them, or 68.4 percent, have been run out of shotgun. But their 434 run plays have been more evenly split, with 211 out of shotgun and 223 from under center. They are averaging 5.2 yards per carry out of shotgun and just 3.9 from under center.

— LeGarrette Blount is the only Eagles running back with more carries from under center than out of shotgun. One hundred thirteen of his 157 rushing attempts, or 72 percent, have been from under center. He's averaging 5.2 yards per carry from under center and just 2.8 out of shotgun. In the last four games, however, even Blount's carries have been more evenly split, with 16 coming out of shotgun and 21 from under center. In the six games Ajayi has been with the Eagles, 36 of his 56 carries have been out of shotgun.

Red zone

— The Eagles are first in the league in red zone offense, converting 35 of 52 trips inside the 20 (67.3 percent) into touchdowns. The Raiders are second (64.5), but have had 21 fewer red zone opportunities than the Eagles.

— In their last nine games, the Eagles have converted 25 of 35 red-zone opportunities into touchdowns (71.4 percent).

-Eagles quarterbacks have thrown 27 red-zone touchdown passes. Wentz had 23 and Foles had four last week to four different receivers.

— The Eagles have eight different receivers with at least one red-zone TD catch. Five have two or more — Zach Ertz (8), Alshon Jeffery (7), Nelson Agholor (4), Trey Burton (3) and Corey Clement (2).

Catching on

— The Eagles have three receivers with at least eight touchdown catches — Jeffery (9), Ertz (8) and Agholor (8). They're the only team with more than one player with eight or more TD catches.

— Jeffery has been targeted 54 times in the last six games. He has 28 receptions, 24 for first downs. In the first eight games, he was targeted 62 times with 28 catches and 20 first downs.

— Agholor has been targeted 32 times in the last three games and has 22 catches, 13 for first downs. Agholor has a team-high 13 red-zone catches. He also leads the team in 20-plus-yard catches with nine.

— Torrey Smith has just 11 receiving first downs on 35 catches.

Slow-starting defense

— In their first 11 games, the Eagles had outscored opponents 78-18 in the first quarter. In the last three games, they've given up a league-high 30 points in the first quarter, including 24 on the first two possessions. They had held opponents to 3.5 yards per play on their first two possessions in the first 11 games. In the last three, opponents have averaged 5.5.

— Last week's game against the Giants was just the third time this season that the Eagles have trailed at the end of the first quarter, but the second time it's happened in the last three games. They trailed Seattle,10-0, after the first quarter in Week 13. The Giants led, 13-7, last week.

Getting pressure

— The Eagles haven't had more than two sacks in a game since their four-sack game against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys in Week 11.

— Brandon Graham has 3 ½ of the Eagles' seven sacks in the last four games.

— The Eagles have given up 22 touchdown passes and have 17 interceptions. A breakdown of TD passes and interceptions by down: 1st down — 6/3; 2nd down — 11/4; 3rd down — 5/8; 4th down — 0/2. A breakdown by number of pass-rushers: 3 rushers — 0/0; 4 rushers — 16/12; 5 rushers — 3/1; 6 rushers — 2/3; 7 rushers — 1/1; 8 rushers — 0/0.

Potent run defense

— The Eagles are first in run defense, holding teams to 71.5 yards per game on the ground. They're sixth in opponent rush average (3.7). They have held opponents to 3.2 yards per carry in the first quarter, 3.4 in the second, 4.6 in the third and 4.3 in the fourth.

— Opponents are averaging a league-low 19.2 rushing attempts against the Eagles. Just three teams have had 25 or more rushing attempts against them — Carolina (25), Dallas (27) and Seattle (25).

— The Eagles have allowed just 50 rushing first downs, which is the fewest in the NFL. They've given up four or fewer rushing first downs in 10 of their 14 games.

— They have given up just 30 double-digit-yard runs. That's the league's fourth fewest, behind Tennessee (26), Denver (24) and Minnesota (19).

— Opponents are averaging just 3.1 yards per carry against the Eagles on first down. In the last 12 games, the Eagles have allowed just 2.8 yards per carry on first down.

Third-down update

— The Giants converted 10 of 18 third-down opportunities against the Eagles on Sunday. That's the first time this season an opponent has converted more than six third downs against the Eagles.

— The Eagles have a league-best eight interceptions on third down. Just five of the 22 touchdown passes they have allowed have been on third down.

Random stat stuff

— The Eagles have used 11 different personnel groupings this season, but seven of them have been used for seven plays or less. The four the Eagles have used most often: "11'' personnel (1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WRs) 609 plays, "12'' personnel (1 RB, 2 TEs, 2 WRs) 229 plays, "13'' personnel (1 RB, 3 TEs, 1 WR) 81 plays, and "10'' personnel (1 RB, 0 TE, 4 WRs) 19 plays. Sixteen of the 19 plays with 10 personnel came against the Rams.

— All four of Foles' touchdown passes against the Giants came on throws that traveled between 11 and 19 yards in the air. A breakdown of the throwing distance on Carson Wentz's 33 touchdown passes: 20-plus yards — 8; 11-19 yards — 12; 0-10 yards — 10; behind line of scrimmage — 3.

— Tight ends have been targeted 101 times against the Eagles and have 67 catches for 684 yards and 5 TDs. Opposing running backs have been targeted 104 times and have 80 catches for 579 yards and 4 TDs.
