Darby’s Big Pick
Cornerback Ronald Darby struggled last week against the Giants, but did have a game-turning interception in the win. He had a critical interception with 54 seconds left against the Raiders that ignited the Eagles' game-winning scoring drive.
Run Game Grounded
The Eagles ran the ball fairly well in the first half, but had their problems in the second, rushing for just 17 yards on eight carries. They finished with just 78 rushing yards.
Jake The Snake
Jake Elliott, who had made 22 of his previous 24 field goal attempts, missed a 33-yarder at the end of the first half that would have given the Eagles a 10-7 lead. But he redeemed himself later, booting a game-winning 48-yard field goal with 22 seconds left to give the Eagles home-field advantage in the playoffs.
Nick’s Struggles
The Raiders came into the game ranked 31st in opponent passer rating, 27th in yards allowed per attempt, and last in interceptions. But Foles completed just 19 of 38 attempts and averaged just 4.3 yards per attempt.
Third Down Woes
The Eagles were second in the league in third-down offense. The Raiders were 27th in third-down defense. Yet, the Eagles managed to convert just one of 14 third-down opportunities against the Raiders.
