Look folks, any other coach in his or her right mind would have given themselves some cover and declared from the beginning of the season that this is a rebuilding and assessment year. This way expectations and frustration would not have BEEN as high. (Dream Team)

1. On defense we needed a new philosophy, new coaches, and personnel. Under sized middle linebackers and defensive ends defense are no match for Brady and company.
2. On offense we needed a new line that protects a Mobil quarterback, new coaches, and personnel. We got rookies and plug-in’-linemen’s.
3. The summation of the above exhibits, to say the least after the NFL lockout, THE eagles started off with a gambling, high risk, free agent credit card spending spree, poor draft selections and a short training camp give way to, missed-tackles, high interceptions, front office misstates and now excuses.

- I have been a fan for over 60 years and I have seen good times as well as bad times but until Jeffrey wakesup nothing is going to change. Andy has no idea about coaching,hiring coaches,time management and drafting good players. This LB core SUCKS!!!!! All I can say is why get enthused about draft day when Andy & Roseman have no clue how to draft. The players they draft are small,quick,injured or they just can't play. Please Mr Laurie make some changes NOW or else we will be coming in at the bottom of the division where we belong. The NFC EAST is getting stronger and unless you make a coaching change we will be at the bottom. Thank goodness the Redskins are in our division!— bill poore

- The Eagkles signed Jon Runyan and Peters as free agents. One was an all-time Eagle with a decade of superlative play and the other is inn the middle of playing atb a HIOF level. There are not great lineman just floating around, fool.— UncleStosh
Yawn ... The best thing that ever happened to Andy reid was Jim Johnson. And the best thing that happened to Jim Johnson was Brian Dawkins. That coach ... and that player were responsible for a whole bunch of wins. It is arrogant and a flat out INSULT to see who Andy has ultimately replaced these legends with. - what the eagles should do is trade vick and get whatever picks they can for him then send a nice 2nd round draft pick to the colts for p. manning so we can have a qb that knows mudds system and can see over the oline. then we should hire a quality dc so this defense knows actually what the hell to do. we should draft a lb and a safety in our first 2 rounds and then get some other lineman and lbs in the draft. we should resign desean jackson to a nice contract so we can have the best wrs in the league again! that will make us fight for a championship next year!— satcho27

Granted the league is starving for QBs. So, somebody would certainly take a flyer on him. However, despite the fact that his career is probably over, he'd still get two No. 1s and a player or two. - 2nd round pick for Manning? LOL!!! - i would fire the linebacker coach and Juan, and the GM Howie Rosman... keep Reid for one more year after that DONE!... hire a good Defensive Coordinator and a good Linebacker Coach n a better GM who knows what we need...cut.... - It's not so much gave up on them as they (the Eagles coaching staff) don't know how to draft talent (teaching corrct technique, fundamentals) or how to correctly use a players talents. That's why when players leave here and are handled by REAL coaches, they tend to excel more often than not. Reid is nothing more than a quarterbacks coach which is where he should be. — essell

— With all this talent who needs a real defensive coordinator 2011 - Chaney mentioned that teams get better when they get comfortable playing with each other, and that it takes time. This brings into light the glaring problem with the coaching choice to constantly rotate the players to keep them fresh. If they have four groups they rotate, then the players only get one quarter the playing time, then the flow and comfort level takes four times as long to develop. Does any other NFL team use wide nine? These are coaching choices which are hurting the teams and keeping it from coming together.— Larry Byrd
- The entire team possesses potential. That's why Reid must go now. Bring in a real NFL who can tweak the roster and make it happen.
