Here comes the sympathy vote. The fact that they have to apologize for their own lack of performance is a direct reflection on their coach's poor performance as a coach, unorthodox assistant coach selection, and poor judge as a talent evaluator. That's it in a nutshell. 14 years of this is more than enough.

Good luck Andy, you were the most successful coach in the history of the franchise and brought great excitement to this city each and every year!!! Good guy and good coach.

Ghost of Callison - I suppose you forgot the 6 NFC East titles, 5 NFC Championship games & the Super Bowl game? Amazing how myopic some fans can be. Callison's been gone for decades.....like your brain?

"truth"teller01: The fact that Johnny Callison has been gone for decades is not germane to this discussion. I forget nothing. I DO remember the promise of a SB win from the owner, who hired this train wreck of a coach who impressed an owner with no sports background with a bogus play book of B.S. I remember horrible clock management, clueless, gimic play calling, boneheaded draft picks, pass-happy unbalanced offense, ridiculous assistant coach selections, taking on a volatile wide out (Owens) and then not knowing how to handle his ego and screwing up a few SB wins in the process by p*ssing the nut case off, the handling of a real leader in Dawkins, etc., etc. Want more examples?

Andy Reid is an enigma. My vote is to let him go. It pains me to say it, but the bottom line is that he has had many many years to get us to the holly grail and he can't say he hasn't had his shot. It is time to move on. I hope they get us someone good.
