- No and Yes. Fortunately, the rest of the NFL is not much better. There are only a few teams playing better. So there is time for Vick and the rest of the team to improve. The team needs to start scoring more.
The loss of Jason Peters cannot be understated. He made the whole line/team better.

The only reason the team is not 1-4 is because the defense has been playing lights out. The turnovers on offense should have crushed this team. Thankfully the defense has been able to make stops.

I know that won't happen and it will create a media frenzy but getting benched for a game can awake a player. And selfishly I kind of want to see what Foles can do driving this offense. - Watching the Eagles thus far this year has been "agony". I realize that people will point to the 3-2 record while saying the are leading the NFC East. But really folks, how much more of Andy Reid's ineptitude must we deal with. They are always out-coached, and that in itself has them going into each game down 4 points at a minimum. Vick's lack of football intelligence puts the team another 3 points behind, so each game we are looking at the Eagles being down 7 points to start the game. I won't even go into Castillo's "D"...Nmadi "whatever"...no wonder the Raiders sucked, I would think the money spent on him would have been better used to donate to the local Cancer foundation.— daqueen123

- You folks that want to put Foles in there deserve a team like Kansas City to support. One of the givens with fans in Philly is that they want all of their teams to be perfect and that is not the nature of professional athletes. With a few breaks the Eagles can make it deep into the playoffs this year largely because Vick can perform despite the pathetic offensive line protecting him. Would you like to go out there and get your body smacked around every week because of the oafs protecting you? Lay off and enjoy your very good football team which plays with heart and enthusiasm.— hankhammer2
- Agree and disagree. The o-line is terrible. The play calls need to include more quick passes and runs. Not the stupid deep balls when there is nickel or dime coverage and 2 safeties back deep. Vick cannot continue to turn the ball over. For over 2 years he has an allergy to securing the football when he runs. The fumble at the goaline was on him and cost the team the game. The fumble on the goaline against the Card's was 100% his fault, not the O-line. — bobf876
- People should watch the coaches film, you learn so much more than just watching live on tv. The O line looked terrible in the preseason with Vick, then magically looked better when we put in a qb who throws on time. Vick holds the ball longer than any other qb in the league, this is a fact, please look it up. Yes their are deep routes, but again, watch the film. Their are plenty of chances for him to throw it quick, he doesn't take them, or doesn't see them. The only time he connects with his targets are when they are wide open or he forces them to make a great catch. He has no clue how to anticipate a coverage and make a stick throw. His throwing motion is very tim tebowish, takes forever to unload and players read his eyes and his throwing motion to get jumps on routes. The day he looks off a safety would be the 1st time in his life. He's not even connecting on his deep passes and on anything short he has no touch and looks like he aiming it. He has no clue how to execute a screen pass, he never pump fakes on any route cause that would take him atleast another 2 seconds, and his timing would be even worse. Playing qb is so much about timing and rhythm. Vick is a playmaker who can't do either consistently, when you watch him on film it looks like he's not even playing the same position as a rodgers or a brady. - @Pink Floyd. Couldn't agree more. He had that 1 magical season and now Reid thinks he can be Tom Brady. Vick might have the biggest arm in the league and he's a phenomenal athlete. But he is not an NFL QB for all the reasons Pink mentioned above. — bobf876
- Vick and Reid may have to go at the end of this season. They get to write their own "obit". What I saw Sunday was that I diagnosed the call that Vick was going to run the ball to score but I didn't think he was stupid enough to challenge a defensive lineman three times his size. What was wrong with running for the goal post? Avoid the contact. Vick can not take a hit. He is done. Send in Nick! Reid is being out coached and the defense was worn out. - Vick sucks; always has and always will. He's not an elite quarterback like the other guys who've won super bowls. The Eagles will never win with this thug. I just hope they figure this out soon and bench this idiot.— dundermifflin
