yes, weaknesses as witnessed in all 3 possessions of 1 preseason game. Lets not jump to conclusions or anything, since no team in the NFL ever has a vastly different season from one to the next, no that never happens. Same old comments, same old lameness

just like the Rams who were 4-0 in preseason last year, hell the Dolphins had the best preseason record in the afc east and the Eagles where 3-1

Have we ever been able to reliably predict the season based on training camp and pre-season football? I'll file this in my "I don't care" folder.

First couple of games should indicate whether REAL improvement is demonstrated. Can the Eagles coaching staff: 1) manage the time clock especially the 2 minute drill; 2) set a starting linebacker corps for more than one game; 3) find that "headbanger" safety; and 4) get the team to play 4 quarters of intense football? We will know by mid-October.

It was not a great showing and I think anyone on the team would say they need a lot more work, that being said it wasnt all bad. My only question is, will atleasy try putting Chaney at sam and Kendrycks at will, with Kendryck's natural ability, but considerable lack in experience and a heighth detriment it would give him a chance to learn and contribute while putting a more experienced, taller, and almost as athleticaly gifted LBer on the field (The best one on the team last year, who looked like a future difference maker not that long ago).

Looking at their first 6 games before the bye, I predict they go 4-2...but definitely no worse than 3-3. The Ravens game at the Linc in week 2 looks to be a toss up game.

We've become just like the cowboys. We look great on paper and then underachieve.

Super Bowl this year? I doubt it. I'd say 200:1 odds. But it's the NFL. One thing you know for sure is that the unexpected will happen.

We shouldn't be good enough at QB and safety to win four games in a row in the postseason. But maybe we are.

I don't see linebacker as an Eagles weakness right now. Still very young there. But when you spread your linemen out, the linebackers are never going to look like stars.
