Vick OK for Indy; Rapmaster Andy
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick said he is at 90-95 percent right now and will be at 100 percent for the game against Indianapolis on Nov. 7.
"Throwing the ball has been the toughest thing," Vick said during his weekly radio appearance with Tony Mercurio on ESPN 94.1-FM in Virginia. "I think I made great strides last week, just getting my range of motion back and working on my accuracy. Things have finally come back full circle. I feel good again and am ready to play some football."
Vick said he and Andy Reid spoke yesterday afternoon about him starting against the Colts.
"He told me to get ready to go, 'let's rock and roll.' That's our term. I'm very excited about the opportunity and looking to pick up where I left off."

Vick said he will spend the bye week watching film and getting ready for the Colts because "now I know how important preparation is."
"It's a totally different feeling when you're the starter," he said. "You know you have to be prepared. You want to go into the game almost knowing that nothing will surprise you. That's the way I like to gear myself up and play a football game … Everything is not going to be perfect. There are going to be highs and lows. At the end of the day, you have to be resilient and overcome adversity."
Vick and his teammates reviewed the film of the loss to Tennessee yesterday.
"We only beat ourselves and we know that … we had Tennessee on the ropes," he said. "We made some mistakes and let the game slip away. We can't do that. When we get a team down, we have to make sure we keep pressing to keep them down. It's tough. We're all very upset and hurt about what happened yesterday because we know we had that game in the bag."
With the Giants win last night, the top of the NFC East is bunched up, although no one has emerged as a dominant team in the NFC.
"Nobody wants to lose games in this league," Vick said. "We're not going through anything different than what the other great quarterbacks who have come before us have gone through. It's going to a be challenge. You have to stand tall. You have to step up to the plate. That's what this league is all about. You find out a lot about yourself playing this game. We'll find out a lot about yourself on Nov. 7 … You have to look forward to it. It's going to be a great game."
Asked about DeSean Jackson's availability for Indianapolis, Vick said, "You see him walking around, he looks like he's making a great recovery. He's optimistic that he'll play. We just have to play it by ear."
Reid said on his radio show last night that Jackson has passed concussion testing for team head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder and now will be examined by an independent doctor before he can be cleared.

Former Eagle Shawn Andrews' interest in music is profiled in the New York Times. You might recall that Andrews, now a member of the Giants, was criticized for "getting his Michael Phelps on" while he was sidelined with back issues.
"Sometimes, I wouldn't even eat, I'd be so excited to get in the studio," said Andrews, who waits until his 2-year-old son, JaShawn, is asleep before hurrying off to work on his music. "I'd be in the studio from like 3 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next day because it's fun. The amount of time I spent in there, if I've spent 12 hours in there, it feels like 30 minutes has gone by."
Nice piece on Eagles seventh-rounder Kurt Coleman, an Ohio State product, in the university newspaper in Columbus. "I have been having a lot of fun out here, and it's been a very good season so far," he said. "It's a fun team and a fun atmosphere and a fun city to be in."
