Vick and McCoy full practice participants
Jeff McLane
Michael Vick was a full participant in Thursday's practice. It was the first time since the Eagles quarterback injured his rib cartilage over two weeks ago that he's been full-go.
Vick mostly did scout work, however, as Kevin Kolb led the first team under center. Kolb will make his third straight start Sunday at Tennessee. Vick will fill a not-yet-to-be-determined backup role as the No. 2 guy or as the emergency third quarterback.
Running back LeSean McCoy (ribs) also returned to practice a day after sitting out.
In other injury news, the following players did not practice Thursday: defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (elbow), defensive end Brandon Graham (illness/ankle), wide receiver DeSean Jackson (concussion) and tackle Jason Peters (knee).
Tight end Brent Celek (wrist), guard Nick Cole (knee), safety Kurt Coleman (quadricep) and wide receiver Riley Cooper (concussion) practiced.
Cooper is expected to be ready to play against the Titans after sitting out the previous two games. He will be the "third receiver," with Jackson sidelined, but will see most of his time at flanker opposite Jeremy Maclin.
Jackson's injury also means that Jorrick Calvin will handle punt returns. Special teams coordinator Bobby April said Thursday that Calvin will also field all the kick returns, replacing cornerback Ellis Hobbs.
- its good to hear that vick is getting better. he should be good to go for the colts.

Backup nothing, he should be volunteering at the SPCA on Sundays. See what I did there, I brought up the dog slaughtering again but did it in a humorous way. I am clever. phillyjeffsr

Michael Vick would look so good in the Oakland Silver/black uniform, so please take it easy when practicing, root for KK to do well, and keep the bench warm till they come a calling. jwatson
Nice stats Philly_Mike but you missed the most important one!!!
AR & staff take note, WE LOST BOTH GAMES BOTH QB's played in!! Start one, Play one!
Fly Eagles. UKEagle
Phillyjettsr, how often do you volunteer for the SPCA on Sunday's, Monday, Tuesday or any other day of the week, how often do you even think about a shelter period..................not often huh. No you are not clever.
PhilyMike if you must have forgotten that Kolb started with Green Bay forgot how many interceptions he threw, or how many times he was sacked which ie how he got the concussion. And if Kolb hadn't thrown that messed up pass he wouldn't have been without Jackson most of Sunday. Hey I understand you are trying to make Kolb sound better than he is. But I agree Reid should let Kolb start all the games, don't try picking the tuff ones for Vick, Kolb should be able to handle any gane that Vick handeles, if he is truly all that. charmaine
Charmaine = The voice of reason! taycom- You idiots have a SUPERSTAR QB on your team and you want Klob to start. No wonder you people haven't won shi.. in 50 years elijah29

Philly Mike my bad, Kolb has only throw two inteceptions. This has absolutely nothing to do with race, however for you to suggest that Kolb has done better in these few games he has started, than Vick has in his entire career certainly makes you sound a bit racist. Eveyone has their opinion, you're impressed with Kolb, I'm not, and it is possible that could change, but right now no. Since you put up stats, I am assuming you knew that Vick has the number 1 QB stats in the league, right. charmaine
I like the idea of Vick starts, Kolb plays the second quarter, Vick the third and finishes if ahead. Next week the reverse. This will of course offend the purist amongist us but so what! We won't be politically correct either but changes are comming and who knows we might win a championship. JACK V
I'm not sure who I prefer but if the Eagles win and Kolb plays well he's going to be the starter. Bet that JayOfDaJungle
