The Eagles explored the possibility of acquiring Tennessee Titans tight end Bo Scaife during draft weekend, a league source has told the Nashville City Paper, but eventually nothing came of the discussions.

Someone -- perhaps even an overzealous Eagles fan -- changed Scaife's Wikipedia entry to reflect that he had been dealt to the Eagles for Reggie Brown and a third-round pick. (The page has since been fixed.)
"I heard something like that, and my phone was going off the hook. I knew that wasn’t true. I had to sign my deal first before anything like that could go down,” Scaife told Yahoo Sports this week.
The Titans had placed the franchise tag on Scaife in late February but he had not signed the tender until the day after the draft. He will make $4.46 million this season.
Of course, the Eagles, as you knew, selected Florida tight end Cornelius Ingram in the fifth round in what many experts already are calling among the biggest steals in the draft.

Comment removed.- brinkmang, I don't agree with cutting them, and saying that there isn't a GM stupid enough to want them. Does Al Davis ring a bell? Nothing is impossible. Just look at our draft, a WR with the first pick and a RB in round 2. Never say never..— Philbert
