2017 NFL draft: Temple's Haason Reddick picked by Arizona Cardinals

It's the culmination of an incredible rise for the Camden native.

Temple linebacker Haason Reddick is headed to the Arizona Cardinals as the 13th pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft.

Thursday night's selection on the Parkway was the culmination of an incredible rise for the Camden native, whose draft stock skyrocketed after he turned heads at the Senior Bowl earlier this month.

Reddick is the first Owls football player to be selected in the first round since the New York Jets took defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson with the 30th pick in 2011, and the second-highest Temple selection ever. The record belongs to John Rienstra, an offensive lineman drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 9 in 1986.

We'll have more details soon.
