Robert Griffin III knows that Donovan McNabb would like to offer him some advice.

It sounds like Griffin, the Washington Redskins' much-hyped second-year quarterback, isn't interested.

"I heard what he said," Griffin told CSNWashington.com on Thursday. "It is what it is. Everybody is going to have their own opinion. He's free to have that opinion. So I'll just leave it at that."

McNabb recently told the Washington Post that he'd like to sit down with Griffin and talk about life as a big-time quarterback in the NFL.

"I want to see him play and do well for years to come," said McNabb, who was famously traded by Andy Reid from the Eagles to the Redskins.

McNabb said Griffin "is the future. Everybody - I mean, everybody - is talking about him."
