Report: DeSean Jackson expected to visit Redskins Monday

Former Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson will visit the division-rival Washington Redskins Monday, according to NBC News4's Dianna Marie Russini.

Redskins sources: DeSean Jackson is expected to visit with Washington this Monday

Jackson was released by the Eagles Friday for reasons that still haven't been made exactly clear yet.

What is known is that Jackson coming off the best season of his career in 2013 where he caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards, scored nine touchdowns and earned his third Pro Bowl nod.

The Redskins currently have $7 million in cap space and boast a receiving corps that includes Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Leonard Hankerson and Andre Roberts. Not to mention, Robert Griffin III is throwing the passes.
