Eagles have not made a decision Sam Bradford's status, have not had discussions about Nick Foles

Updated at 2 p.m.

The Eagles have not yet made a decision on whether to tag quarterback Sam Bradford, according to a league source, despite an ESPN report that said the Eagles are not expected to use the tag.

Also, the Eagles have not had discussions about re-acquiring Nick Foles. The ESPN report also said that Doug Pederson is interested in bringing back Nick Foles, who the Eagles traded to the Rams in a deal for Bradford that also included a second-round pick.

Teams cannot use the franchise tag until Feb. 16. They have until March 1. After that, there is just more than one week to re-sign a player before he is free to leave at the start of free agency on March 9.

If the Eagles used the franchise tag on Bradford, they would need to pay him around $20 million in 2016 once Bradford signs the contract. But there is also the risk of a holdout if Bradford sought a long-term deal.

Foles signed a two-year contract extension with the Rams worth $24.5 million last season. He was benched and finished with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Pederson was Foles' quarterbacks coach in 2012 and was on the staff when the team drafted Foles in the third round.
