Peters eager for return vs. Cowboys

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters said he is ready to return and expects to play Sunday night against Dallas.

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters said he is ready to return and expects to play Sunday night against Dallas.

Peters missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. He was back on the practice field Monday for the Eagles’ abbreviated session.

"I'm going to rock," Peters told the team’s website today. "Sunday, I'll be out there."

Peters was not available Monday when reporters were allowed access to the locker room.

Cole, Peters return to practice

Fellow linemen said Monday the first-team o-line was Peters, left guard Evan Mathis, center Jason Kelce, right guard Danny Watkins and right tackle Todd Herremans.

Winston Justice’s strong performance at right tackle against the Redskins in the win that took the Eagles into their bye, Justice’s first action of 2011, wasn’t enough to earn Justice a lineup spot, it would seem.

Peters said the bye came at the right time.

“Now I'm coming back against the Cowboys and trying to get another win,” he said. “"I'm feeling good. I'm just working myself back into it."
