Disgusted by yesterday’s Eagles game? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. In fact, you’re in pretty good company.
Merrill Reese, the legendary play-by-play voice for the Eagles Radio Network, was so upset by the team’s performance that he couldn’t even get through the standard “express, written consent” disclaimer without criticizing the team. Reese couldn't even fathom why anybody would even bother rebroadcasting the Eagles' 27-6 drubbing at the hands of the Cardinals:
…any rebroadcast of today’s game is expressly prohibited… rebroadcast? Of this!? I don’t think you -- I dare you! …without the express, written consent of the NFL…

The defensive schemes are NOT working or the guys would be in "better position" to make plays. Arizona threw some different defensive looks at the Eagles so the entire team tanks??????? - It's fun to read the comments a day after a performance like this.. you guys are awesome !!! Lol... Give it a break, it's a football game.. In 2005 I was at a Superbowl party in Fla. Many peeps had moved down there from South Jersey, so it was one nice Eagles bash... Anyway, 2 plus hourse after the game is over, this one dude from Cinna, is still yelling at the TV.. Idiot !!! If they are meant to win it all, they'll win it all. If not, another year gose by.. What I get tired of hearing is all the praise they were given after 2 games. Listening to Artie Lange on WIP HD is worse than having a colonoscopy and root canal performed at the same time. Anybody that thinks he's the slightest bit funny has loose screws. - Don't worry fans, Jeffrey Lurie is on top of this. He's going to have to wait and see another 12 games of film to determine what's been obvious to the most casual observer for the past 14 years. Andy Reid is over matched, strategically flawed, stubborn, arrogant, rude and drunk on power and he could coach this team another 30 years without winning a single Super Bowl. — Eaglejay - This game was a travesty. I'm sure there have been games where the Eagles played as badly, but no one can possibly say that this Eagles team has a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl. They were lucky to win the first two games and should really be 0-3, based on how they've played so far. Look for blowout losses to both the Giants and Steelers in their next two games.— SteveS11
