I agree, Jeff. they are what their record says they are: 4 wins and 8 losses (and possibly more), which makes them wretched this year. And I think the Eagles have quit playing for Reid, whether or not "there is just no quit in Reid." NM Eagle fan- People People People y r u focused on Andy Reid look say dayt everyone wishes come tru and Andy Reid gets Fired! then we go pick up some Coach Like Mike Shannan and the Eagles 2012 Season we go 3 - 13 and then what yall guna say hmmmm sum ppl on here everyday talk bout Firing Reid man were lucky 2 have a coach like Reid for the Eagles u want Tom Haley Chiefs head coach look at the Rams there horrible 2 man i see the same people just throwin the eagles under the bus i dont see any of these coments on the NFL website o daytz right yall dont show yalls tru faces on this website but u do have 2 on NFL website so it makes me wonder r yall really just eagle fans or r yall just sum losers that live n ur moms basement playing world of warcraft all day man get a life!!! i bet if the eagles were 13 - 0 right now there b no comment on this website at all but only wen the eagles loose wow sum kind of ppl yall r yall make me sick!
VickaDelphia24 - hahaha, geez, where to start? TripNines, you said it. VickaDelphia... you're right, if the birds were 13-0 no one would complain. that would be a pretty amazing feat, too, considering they've only played TWELVE games so far. in any case, 13-0 is nothing to complain about, while 4-8 definitely is. so take your "y's" and "r's" and "u's" and "yalls" somewhere else.
- You actually read that drivel? As soon as I hit y r u I'm done. Just telling the world you're an idiot. It's not a surprise, seeing his name. COskier
- I think the problem is with the coaches, starting with Andy. The offense is one dimensional. With the talent we have, the offense should be way more dynamic than what it is.... pass happy. The defense, especially the secondary, doesn't believe in nor trust the scheme because it isn't utilizing what they do best. Reid says his team is young, since he acknowledges that he needs to build on these young guys confidences have them do the things they do well and then have them do new things. They will be more willing because they have the confidence knowing push come to shove the coaches will put them in positions they feel more comfortable with.
Reid is the main problem & has been for years. He has never been able to change his game plan during a game when its become obvious that the opponent knows what the Eagles are going to do next. He just stands there with that bewildered look on his face. cyeager
We could very easily have a worse record than the Dolphins this time next week. Why is Andy's job so secure? XanderCrews- "Why is Andy's job so secure?"
I only wish I knew the answer to that question, XanderCrews. If Reid were coaching ANY other team in the NFL, he would have been fired a decade ago. Almost EVERY NFL team has owners that are knowledgeable and passionate and involved. That doesn't seem to be the case here. Why us, is my question, why us? Where did we go wrong? essell
The D- PASS COVERAGE has been a disaster. But Reid MUST have had front office BUY-IN to hire Juan Castillo as DC [due to past team affiliation].
The O- PASS DEFENSE has failed often. Vick's broken ribs play was by a completely UNBLOCKED pass rusher who was there instantly. He should be REQUIRED to wear that kevlar rib vest.
These TWO things have cost them 5-games they should have won.

Offensive play calling has been terrible. Coaches need to know how to use their weapons or they need to find new professions. blueye7
its a slap in the face reading and seeing all these pundits proclaiming Andy's job is safe. What are they seeing? What is Lurie seeing to make him want this to continue? i just don't get it. As a life-long Eagles fan it is really disheartening and gives me no hope for the future at all. As long as Reid is coach the Eagles will never win the SB. Isn't obvious? Apparently not. i won't buy tickets or support this team if it continues, i hope everyone is with me. jakeAZ- Actually it isn't remotely obvious. When did you get a crystal ball? The mathematical illiteratti that follow this team need to wake up to the fact that winning the SB in the present NFL is a once-in-32-years event (on average).
- Fool, tell that to the Patriots or Steelers. Those are the teams that the front office tries to emulate with talks of "Gold Standard", and "All In". JL needs to stop lying to himself and clean house. Carmine, you're not from Philly or even an Eagles fan, so go back to wherever you came from, where apparently mediocrity and excuses are acceptable.
