Former Eagles Pro Bowl fullback Leonard Weaver will sign a one-day contract and officially announce his retirement with the team in a press conference tomorrow at the NovaCare Complex at 1 pm.

More from the team press release:

Armed with a unique combination of power and big-play ability out of the fullback position, Weaver earned a Pro Bowl invitation and Associated Press All-Pro honors in his first season with the Eagles in 2009 after leading all NFL fullbacks in rushing attempts (70) and yards (323) to go along with four total touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving).

Originally a rookie free agent signing of the Seattle Seahawks in 2005, Weaver played in 63 games (19 starts) in his six-year NFL career, accumulating 1,366 total yards from scrimmage and seven total touchdowns. Weaver starred collegiately as a tight end at Division II Carson-Newman, earning All-America honors as a senior after leading the team with 27 catches for 571 yards and eight touchdowns
