With head coaches on the move, here are your latest updates flying out of the NFL rumor mill:

11:18 PM: ESPN's Chris Mortensen has reported that Chip Kelly met with the Cleveland Browns for seven hours Friday. Kelly still plans on meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills before he makes a final decision.

8:01 PM: The Kansas City Chiefs make it official: Andy Reid will be the team's next head coach. The team made it official via a photo on the team's Twitter account.

5:59 PM: Chip Kelly, who has been rumored as a potential replacement for Andy Reid, is close to a deal with the Cleveland Browns to become their next coach, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

5:45 PM: Mary Kay Cabot reports via Twitter that NFL Network's Albert Breer claims the Browns are prepared to spend more to acquire Chip Kelly.

4:23 PM: The Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports that Reid flew to Kansas City today and that the deal is done, pending a few minor details.

11:17 AM: ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter have reported that the Kansas City Chiefs and Andy Reid have "reached an agreement" on a contract. Mortensen further reported that the two sides' lawyers are currently reviewing the contract. It will reportedly be for five years.

The Inquirer's Jeff McLane received a text message from Reid stating that he is "still working on an agreement" with Kansas City, but no deal has yet been signed.

One of the final obstacles to Reid moving to Kansas City was removed earlier Friday morning when the Chiefs fired general manager Scott Pioli has been fired. The move could potentially allow Reid to bring in a GM of his choosing. Reid is also said to want Juan Castillo as his offensive line coach, according to Comcast SportsNet.

10:30 AM: A possibility for the Chiefs GM gig is Packers Director of College Scouting John Dorsey, who has also been linked to the vacated GM spot with the Jets. Adam Caplan cites Reid and Dorsey's "strong relationship" as evidence that he is the leading candidate.

Along with Dorsey, another possibilitiy to join Reid in KC is former Browns GM Tom Heckert.

- After Oregon's 35-17 victory in the Fiesta Bowl last night, head coach Chip Kelly can start focusing on fielding professional coaching opportunities. The Browns, Eagles, Bills, and possibly Cardinals are all waiting in line, with the Browns promising to make an offer on Friday too sweet for Kelly to even interview elsewhere. Kelly says his decision, whatever it is, will happen quickly. He wouldn't be leaving Oregon without at least some resistance--last night fans and players took to chanting "We want Chip" after the Ducks' big win.

- Adam Caplan reports that the Browns' interest in Kelly is "more than an infatuation," while he "wouldn't put Kelly at the top of [the Eagles'] list."

- Browns CEO and former Eagles president Joe Banner reportedly "spent time" with Chip Kelly's agent yesterday, officially kicking off the Chip Kelly sweepstakes. If the Browns can't land Kelly, they have recorded interest in former Broncos head coach and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, as well as Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone.

- Penn State's Bill O'Brien is indeed staying with the Nittany Lions; though whether he is doing so out of allegiance or due to the high cost of buying out the rest of his contract is up in the air. Regardless, he will not be coaching in the NFL next season.

- Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is scheduled to meet with the Bills Saturday, as well as the Cardinals, Bears, and Eagles in the near future; though he has stated that he will not be jumping blindly into just any position he is offered. The Eagles have scheduled an interview with McCoy this weekend.

- Former Bears head coach Lovie Smith will be interviewing with for the empty head coach spot with the Bills this weekend.

- 49ers Director of Player Personnel Tom Gamble is potentially in line for both the Jaguars and Jets' GM positions. He's also been attached to the Browns.

- Rumored to be on the Bears' short list to take Smith's vacated spot are offensive coordinators McCoy, Tom Clements of the Packers, Bruce Arians of the Colts, Mike Sullivan of the Buccaneers, Pete Carmichael Jr. of the Saints, and special teams coaches Keith Armstrong of the Falcons and Joe DeCamillis of the Cowboys.

On Friday, it was reported that the team met with Sullivan for over six hours.

- The Colts have no intention of letting Arians leave without a fight, claiming they will do "whatever we could" to hold onto him.

- The Chargers, fresh off releasing head coach Norv Turner, saw their special teams coach Rich Bisaccia take flight yesterday for a position with Auburn University. Previously in pursuit of both Andy Reid and Bill O'Brien, San Diego has seen two options leave the table. They have also shown an interest in Lovie Smith.

- Considered ancillary pursuers of Chip Kelly, the Cardinals are another team curious about Andy Reid who may lose a target if Reid's deal with the Chiefs goes through.

With Reid all but off the table, the Cardinals have asked permission to speak with Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

- Their desire for Chip Kelly is well documented, but the Browns are also trying to get a word in with former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt, as well as Arizona's defensive coordinator Ray Horton.

- Ron Rivera's mysterious future with the Panthers may soon clear up; the Carolina head coach is scheduled to meet with the team over the weekend. They are also on the hunt for a new GM, with Titans VP of Player Personnel Luke Dawson entering the picture.

- The Jaguars are on the prowl for a GM, and after several interviews with directors of player personnel David Caldwell of the Falcons and Tom Gamble of the 49ers, ownership announced that no decision would be made until next week.
