Posted on Mon, Jun 11, 2012
Eagles defensive tackle Jerome Brown lost his life in a car accident in his hometown of Brooksville, Florida on June 25, 1992. The Eagles selected Brown, who played his entire five-year career with the team, ninth overall in the 1987 NFL draft following his stellar college career at the University of Miami. The Eagles retired his No. 99 jersey on September 6, 1992, before the team's first game following his tragic death.
