Video: LeSean McCoy suffered a broken rib during Sunday's game against the Redskins.  Michael Vick does not have a broken rib, but has been diagnosed with a rib cartilage injury.

Andy never changes. He is more exposed than ever, now that McNabb is not here to share in the blame. His legacy is both good and frustrating. His play-calling is just terrible. Time mgmt always a weak link even after 11 years. His past tunnel vision: waiting for him to get offensive weapons; taking 5 years to get rid of Smith, a TE who just couldn't cut it: no FB until Weaver signed. Now he has the new challenge. To remember that OLine was a "strategy" he brought with him and gave him great success, which he subsequently abandoned by not drafting qaulity replacements BEFORE Tre and Runyon retired. He waited to the last minute and was forced to grab Peters and Andrews; and the jury is in both of them. The teams fragmented state is due to his arrogance and unwillingness to accept the obvious. That condition will lead to downfall and departure - is just a matter of time. He has been so closed minded, its now too late to fix all that is broken.

lerze77 - could not agree with you more. the unfortunate passing of coach johnson needs to be included too. I only hope when they eventually fire andy - that he does not become a 911 operator

Andy will always provide stability but don't count on him for a championship. He cannot think on the fly - and in tight moments - where quick-thinking is needed - he'll fail miserably.. like when he finds out the ball was put a couple of feet further back and couldn't adjust... a couple of feet??????

Time management has haunted Reid for a decade. He's is brutal at managing the clock and his play calling has always been suspect. Now that McNabb is gone, we see that the problem in those areas has been Reid.

I've seen high school games with better play calling and clock management.

@lerze77 - your points are spot on to us, the masses; and yes, @tffrph, that includes the tragic passing of defensive genius, JJ. The real dilemma lies in issues that MUST be recognized and addressed by someone without blinders since the 'man upstairs' and his cronies are too loyal to Reid.

About Rich Hofmann
Rich Hofmann arrived at the Daily News in 1980 for a job whose status was officially designated as "full-time, temporary." A senior at Penn at the time, he was hired to fill in on the copy desk during a staff illness. The notion of him covering the Eagles or being a columnist did not exist in anyone's imagination. It was supposed to be six weeks and out, but he never left. It is only one of the reasons why so many people have concerns about him as a potential house guest. Rich has blogged the postseasons of the Flyers and Eagles. E-mail Rich at hofmanr@phillynews.com
