UPDATED: Herremans, Jean-Gilles and Bradley listed as questionable

Todd Herremans returned to practice Friday, but Max Jean-Gilles sat out. Both are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, but the outlook for the two are very different.

Herremans, caught in one of the hallways at the NovaCare Complex, said he expects to play after injuring his calf Wednesday and missing practice on Thursday. He was limited in practice Friday. He got acupuncture this week to try to aid his recovery.

"I've heard people that have done it, said it worked. Try anything once," Herremans said.

It would be stunning if he didn't fight through to play in the playoffs.

Jean-Gilles, though, is more of a concern. He sprained his ankle against the Cowboys Sunday and has not practice all week. Reid said he could play without practicing, because he has experience at the position.  Nick Cole  and Reggie Wells are the normal back ups at guard, but King Dunlap could also fill in if needed, Reid said.

Dunlap, a tackle who said he has never played guard in a game, said he worked on the position this week.

"Everything happens quicker inside," Dunlap said. The 6-foot-9 tackle said staying low is even more important at guard.

"Inside, if you get high, you get pushed back into the quarterback," he said.

Linebacker Stewart Bradley (elbow) is still a "stretch" to play Sunday, Reid said, even though he returned to practice for the first time in weeks. Bradley was limited, however, and is also questionable. Cornerback Asante Samuel was also limited in practice.

FROM EARLIER:

A day after sitting out all of practice with a calf injury, guard Todd Herremans returned on Friday as the Eagles continued their preparation for Sunday's playoff game against the Packers.

Herremans "tweaked" his calf during Wednesday morning's walk-through, but coach Andy Reid said Thursday that his starting left guard "should be OK."

His presence at practice was a good sign. An official report on the extent of his participation and his status for Sunday will be announced later.

Herremans' counterpart at right guard, however, was still out. Max Jean-Gilles watched practice, but was not suited up. Jean-Gilles has an ankle sprain. If he can't start, Nick Cole will likely fill in.

Linebacker Stewart Bradley, meanwhile, made his first appearance at practice in some time. He dislocated his elbow last month and missed the final three games of the season and had not practiced yet this week. He was dressed on Friday, however, but it remains to be seen how much he participated.
