Eagles' training camp dates set

The Eagles have announced the dates for training camp at Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa.

Rookies and selected veterans are scheduled to report Monday, July 26.

The remainder of the team is scheduled to report Thursday, July 29.

The Eagles break camp on Wednesday, Aug. 18 in asdvance of the second preseason game, at Cincinnati on Friday, Aug. 20.

The preseason opener at home against Jacksonville is Friday, Aug. 13.

The Eagles also play preseason games at Kansas City on Aug. 27 and at home against the Jets on Sept. 2.

The Birds also will again host Flight Night at the Linc, on Thursday, Aug. 5. The event is a fundraiser for the Eagles Youth Partnership.

I would suggest everyone who wants to go to get there early. As the show Kolb will put on with his command and leadership will be on full display to a packed field. Don't be surprised to see high ranking military personnel in attendance taking notes of the instant impact that true leadership from an All-American can provide.

No disrespect to Kolb. I'll be watching the DeSean Jackson show. He's so fast he can teach speed. Literally.

Kolb can actually get the ball to DeSean Jackson in stride. We'll finally be able to see how fast DeSean really is since he won't have to come back to a ball or make a circus catch and get layed out.
