Eagles unveil wine for 80th anniversary

The Eagles have taken 80 years of Lombardi Trophy-less football and bottled it, and they're giving you a chance to bring it home.

The eight decades of Eagles football in Philadelphia were deemed worthy of a wine - a 2011 cabernet sauvignon from the Napa Valley, to be specific. The wine is the product of Sam Spencer, runner of the esteemed Spencer Roloson Winery in Northern California, using grapes from the prestigious four vineyards of which Spencer makes use.

"Exotic aromatics leap from the glass," reads the description, "demanding your attention, with brooding and intense black fruit essence." Sounds mysterious.

At $30 a bottle, "Rollout" will be popping at Pennsylvania liquor stores and New Jersey wine sellers, hopefully around the same time the Eagles are making a miraculous turnaround. It's a must-drink while viewing the latest anti-Eagles Venn diagram.
