Zach Berman
The Eagles have 11 players inactive against the Steelers: WR Riley Cooper, S Nate Allen, S Colt Anderson, LB Jamar Chaney, DE Trent Cole, LT Jason Peters, G Brandon Washington, TE Brent Celek and DT Mike Patterson.
The starting lineup changes are interesting in result.
- Cullen Jenkins will start at left defensive end in place of Jason Babin.
- Antonio Dixon is starting at defensive tackle, where Jenkins usually starts.
- Darryl Tapp will start in Cole's place at end.
- Jaiquawn Jarrett will start at strong safety, not O.J. Atogwe.
- Clay Harbor will be the first-team tight end with Celek absent.
The Eagles' captains are Michael Vick, Jason Kelce, DeMeco Ryans, Derek Landri and Jon Dorenbos.
On the Steelers' side...
- The Steelers will be missing punter Jeremy Kapinos, RB Rashard Mendenhall, G Willy Colon, OT Max Starks, LB James Harrison, LB Jason Worilds, DE Cameron Heyward and DT Casey Hampton.
- A classy move from the Steelers: Dan and Art Rooney, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert and coach Mike Tomlin came to Eagles locker room at 5:30 to offer condolences to Andy Reid
