Eagles awarded compensatory pick in 7th round

The Eagles received an additional draft pick on Monday when they were awarded a compensatory pick in the seventh round of April's draft. The NFL's compensation formula considered the loss of wide receiver Steve Smith and defensive end Juqua Parker, and the addition of offensive tackle Demetress Bell.

The Eagles now have four seventh-round picks -- their original pick, the compensatory pick, Cleveland's pick, and Tampa Bay's pick. They do not have a sixth-round pick. They still have their original picks in the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth rounds.
