The Eagles now have seven players on the practice squad after officially signing WR B.J. Cunningham and DT Frank Trotter.
Cunningham was a sixth-round pick by the Dolphins out of Michigan State. He's 6-foot-2, 215 pounds and was the Spartans' all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards. Trotter spent training camp and the preseason with the Eagles and finished with three sacks.
They join C Chase Beeler, TE Chase Ford, FB Emil Igwenagu, WR Marvin McNutt and LB Ryan Rau. All except Beeler spent the preseason with the Eagles.

- He's the backup center, as Vandevelde's gaffe in game #3 may have led to him losing his job, althought the brass thought they'd keep him (bucs scooped him up)...Reynolds is a surprise,as he's logged mega time on the Practice Squad...Thus the reason to secure a natural center (Chase Beeler) waiting in the wings and learning schemes on the PS.

I'm kind of bummed that Gilyard and Brackett were cut but the practice squad looks good...real good. GO BIRDS! greenbloodVAEagle
