The NFL has moved the Eagles-Cowboys game Sunday to 4:15 p.m., instead of 1 p.m.
Fans will have to do some scoreboard watching, because the Bears-Packers game will also be at 4:15. With a win Tuesday and Sunday, the Eagles could claim the number two seed in the NFC, but only if the Bears lose.
Of course, the game against the Vikings was also supposed to be at 1, but was moved to prime time, and now, because of the snow, Tuesday.
Earlier Sunday, we had details of the Eagles' clinching the NFC East through the Giants' loss, the Vikings reaction to the game moving to Tuesday, the Eagles reasons for not offering refunds and their plans to get Lincoln Financial Field ready for the game, and reaction from Andy Reid and some Eagles to the postponement.

- so is there a FLEX game next week? Why wouldn't Bears-GB be the flex game? also, why does the NFL even announce times for these games before the beginning of the season, when apparently it is merely a suggestion. They should just list them all TBD.
- yes, there is a flex game
They flexed the Rams-Seahawks game to Sunday night. canio- yeah so I see that StL-Seattle will be the flex game. I guess if the Giants and TB lose then GB clinches #6 regardless of what they do. and they also moved the Giants-Redskins to 4:15PM which means that GB will still not know at kickoff if they have clinched the #6 spot.
Well, better than nothing... Philly Fan in Kuwait- The League can't get enough of OUR Ultimate Weapon.Mike Vick first year as a starting QB, Eagles takes the 2010 NFC East Crown. YEA rriight...I mean't to say the league can't get enough CHEDDA Can't wait to see what's Next. Mike Vick... Must see TV.Go Eagles SEE U IN DALLAS
The should have moved this one to the following Tuesday. On the other hand, we will be playing the cowgirls 3rd string QB, so we should leave out starters out of this one anyway. croozn- Jeez I miss Sunday at 1 PM games . . . Justicek
- The Philadelphia Eagles. America's Team.
We'll beat the Vikings brains in on Tuesday, then kick the Cowboys all the way back to Dallas on Sunday. Then we'll start booking our plane tickets BACK to Dallas for the Superbowl. Yeah, that's right. I SAID IT. jibberjabber
The Bears Green Bay wasn't the flex game because they don't have Vick. Football fans want to see Vick play. We are going to the Super Bowl Eagle fans. The NFL and the networks demand it. Ron
I got to give the NFL a lot of credit on not flexing the Bears/Green Bay game to next Sunday night. It's the best match-up on the schedule, but if the Giants were to lose to Washington - which will also start at 4:15 Sunday - and Tampa Bay loses earlier to New Orleans, then Green Bay - if its game was Sunday night - would not need to win the game and be able to rest all of its players and simply lose to Chicago. The way it is now, Green Bay will have to try and win the game, which is good news for the Eagles. Because if the Eagles beat the Vikings Tuesday and the Cowboys Sunday, and Green Bay beats Chicago, the Eagles will get a bye-week. Crazier things have happened, like two years ago when the Eagles needed a couple of teams to lose to make it to the playoffs, and it happened. jimqk
As an Eagle fan in California, the game will be at 1:15pm on a workday (tomorrow). So sad of the Sunday postponement; we were ready to watch with a big group of friends. What a disappointment. Oh well...GO EAGLES!! Happy New Year to all our fellow Eagle fans. Stay warm. jo4210
