One interesting note regarding the schedule from ESPN.com Pat Yasinskas, who covers the NFC South:

When the Eagles came to Atlanta last year, the Falcons were banged up with injuries and Philadelphia made it a point to showcase Michael Vick against his former team. The Atlanta brass was too classy to publicly complain about it. But there were plenty of people within the organization who were furious with Philadelphia coach Andy Reid. They’ll get a chance to pay him back Oct. 17 when they go to Philadelphia.

phillyceltic: YEP! Apparently, not too many people here watch college football. And they refuse to realize that he won't even play safety in the NFL - he'll have to convert to corner. He's too weak to play safety against the run in the NFL, and he's never played corner. No matter - he's highly touted so he must be THAT good (like Earl Sims at #9 overall). And these folks are willing to trade all the way up to #10, and give away at least 1, if not 2, 2nd round picks for him, when we could draft 2 safeties in Rd. 2 that are both better suited for S than Thomas. Thankfully, he'll be some other team's problem, because at least posts here are correct that he won't be available at #24. Travis Mays will - Mays won't be drafted until Rd. 2, and the Eagles will pass on him. He can't cover. He's the flip-side of the coin to Thomas.

BIG_PHILLY -- nobody saw Brady Quinn dropping to 22 or saw Crabtree falling to SF...people fall on draft day.

Andy is smarter than most of you. If Wilson, Thomas, Iupati aren't available at 24, I hope the eagles trade down and acquire an extra first or high second round pick. This draft is deep!!!!dopes.

ob 18, use a comma or something to break that up, and no that is not a request for you to do it again here. Perhaps the number of each pick to label each team would have been smart too....

Greenflyer says "Dan Williams said he is the best DT in the draft." I'm not saying he's not, but Michael Westbrook once said he is a Hall of Fame WR

Agree with Ruiz and company. Earl Thomas doesn't get to #25. If he's there at #24, which is unlikely, he's a better CB than Kareem Jackson, so the Eagles can draft him and try him at safety and corner. If Thomas is gone, in Domo's draft, Iupati would make sense for the Eagles.

Nobody tackles in the big twelve. Look at that scrub Roy Williams. Every team puts up 45 points a game. Its two hand touch for gods sake and you want to take a safety from Texas with your first pick. Ludacrism!

Trading Vic for a third rounder and grabbing Tim Tebo is my mock third round......that being said I see the birds trading out of the 24 pick, either moving up for Eric berry(if he slips) or down to take 3 in the second...Wilson/Dunlop/safety/CB

we all know how pointless these things are (but fun nonetheless), but there is ZERO chance Earl Thomas drops that far. If he, Kyle Wilson, or Maurkice Pouncey are still on board at 16/17, Id be happy with a trade up for any one them (trade with 49ers at 17, or even 13 good possibility, 9ers are very cheap).
