RUSHING OFFENSE

LeSean McCoy had two rushing touchdowns, which was just one fewer than he had in the first 10 games. Other than that, he had a subpar afternoon. He averaged just 3.9 yards per carry, had a season-high five runs for losses and just one rushing first down, which is two less than quarterback Nick Foles, who outrushed Robert Griffin III, 47 to 44. Go figure.

Grade: C-plus

PASSING OFFENSE

Nick Foles had his sixth 100-plus passer rating performance in his last seven games. Completed 65 percent of his passes and extended his streak of pass attempts without an interception to 199. His only negative was that he failed to throw a touchdown pass against a defense that had allowed 19 in its first nine games. And he was sacked three times.

Grade: B-plus

RUN DEFENSE

The Redskins rushed for 28 yards on their first three carries of the game and finished with 191 yards on 38 carries. The Eagles gave up 10 runs of 9 yards or more, including 22- and 24-yarders, and 11 rushing first downs, their second most of the season. The good news is they held the 'Skins to 31 yards on 10 carries in the second half.

Grade: C-minus

PASS DEFENSE

For three quarters, the Eagles did an impressive job on Robert Griffin III, holding him to seven completions and 57 yards and sacking him four times. Then it got hairy as Griffin torched them for 207 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter before a timely pressure by Fletcher Cox forced a careless, up-for-grabs pass from Griffin that Brandon Boykin grabbed for a game-saving interception.

Grade: C-plus

SPECIAL TEAMS

Punter Donnie Jones had a big game, finishing with a 50.7-yard net average, including a huge 70-yarder in the fourth quarter that forced the Redskins to start their final possession on the 4-yard line. Alex Henery had a field goal and four touchbacks on five kickoffs. The return game didn't contribute anything.

Grade: B-plus

OVERALL

Everybody who expected the Eagles to be 6-5 and in first place in the NFC East going into the bye week please stand up. That's what I thought. The Redskins aren't a particularly good team and Robert Griffin III was all over the place with his throws. But the Eagles won a game at home they needed to win.
