Deion Sanders had some not-so-nice things to say about Eagles fans tonight after the team's 48-20 win over the Cardinals.

Donovan McNabb arrived at the NFL Network's set at the Linc for a post-game interview. Many fans stayed in the stands to applaud McNabb, who threw four touchdowns in the victory.

As fans chanted McNabb's name, Sanders interrupted.

"Can I tell them something for you?" he said. "First of all, I would like to tell all these idiotic fans to shut-up. Don't get on his bandwagon now. You're the same guys who booed him on his first incompletion."

Host Rich Eisen then asked Sanders what he thought of the Philly fans.

"I can't stand them. I really can't. It's not because I was a former Cowboy because I didn't give a darn about any fans. They all hated me because I performed well," Sanders said. "But they way they treated this man from Day One, it's not justifiable. They will not treat any other quarterback in the NFL, like we said, Peyton Manning don't get treated like that. Tom Brady. And I know you [McNabb] can't say it, but I would really like on your behalf, you can take this...God bless you guys. ... "

Deion, the feeling is mutual. We didn't hate you because you played well, which you should quit patting yourself on the back, you weren't all that, we hated you because you were, are and always will be a stone, self absorbed moron.

Prime Time's right. I gotta say, Andy called it after tonights game. "This City judges you on your last play." It's just we love the game so much.

Deion was the definition of everything bad that sports became. He is now just one in a long line of former players who put their idiocy on display each week to entertain the intellectual viewers. He and Shannon Sharpe should have their own game show where contestants try to decipher what it is that they are trying to say.

Yeah Prime wasn't all that..Just the best cover corner/punt returner in NFL history. Two rings, HOF. Right, he sucked. Hate to have a guy like that on my team. I like his TV work, he's got an opinion and he's not scared to say it. Preach brother and if the truth stings, tough.

Comparing the treatment of Donovan to Brady or Manning is ridiculous. Donovan is a good qb overall, but he's not in the same league as those guys. Apples and oranges.....

Anyone who makes as much money as McNabb needs to expect a little criticism. If any of us underperformed at our workplace we would hear about it. This is part of the territory when your a multi-millionaire.

Can't say that I disagree with Prime but do not paint all Eagles fans with the same brush. Unfortunately only the negative idiots get exposure. I saw plenty of #5 jerseys in the stands and I had mine on. Donovan could care less about these idiots and I can only wish that the media both local & national would do the same.

Deion Sanders was an unbelievably great football player, but right now he's just a major idiot. How many typical Eagles fans does he actually know? Probably none, but he thinks just because he sees the loudest thousandth of a percent on tv every year or two when he covers an Eagles game, he knows what Eagles fans are thinking. If I wanted to make a similarly moronic overgeneralization, I would say that all ex-player commentators are complete idiots. But I don't need to offend the many ex-players who are really talented at their second careers. I can be more specific. Deion Sanders is a complete idiot.

McNabb wins when he has the talent around him and the proper game plan called... just like any solid quarterback. He is the BEST quarterback in franchise history and will be remembered as such until someone comes along and does it better. If he gets traded, it will be a mistake. Reid is more to blame than McNabb. He admits it and is right. His play calling has been unbalanced and puts the players at a disadvantage.

Yeah Deion that how it is here sadly, eagles fans are super bi-polar.Not all but good percentage of philly fans sway with the wind. Now for the next 10 or so days if you ask anyone,McNabb's great and Reid is a playcalling guru. If #5 ever wins a ring it sure wont be here, and if Kolb is the #1 QB next year we'll be just like Detroit...GUARANTEED.

Who really cares what Deion thinks. The true philadelphia sports fan loves philadelphia teams, doesn't neccessarily mean the players &/or coaches. We cheered tonight but let stink next week & see what happens. We have never won a super bowl yet the phillies won the world series & the Soul won the arena bowl. So yea Deion we really don't care if you don't like us. Keep talking & you might not get back in to the city to cover a game & if you do you may not get out w/o a problem. We are a no compromise produce or get out city. No exceptions. Love us or hate us that's the passion a true philadelphia sports fan possess.

Oh please Neion Deion, we would treat Manning and Peyton the same we do McNabb. Even with their SB rings, which in case you didn't know Deion, McNabb has zero. More on Reid than McNabb but that's neither here or there. You perform to the level your capable of playing, we'll love and cheer you. You underperform and god forbid we boo a player making millions of dollars to play a sport. You want a crying towel Deion? Why are you even on the NFL network? Shouldn't you be babysitting Pacman Jones?

No one has ever done more with less than Donovan McNabb. He gets too much criticism. He was real good last night. But suddenly his receivers are making tough catches and Westbrook looked like Westbrook and a big back came in and converted a 3rd and 1. It's easier to look good when the other team has something to worry about other than you.

Deon really disrespected the fans that stayed behind to cheer Donovan. If Donovan won a Superbowl like Manning and Brady the town would make him immortal in the memory of Philadelphia fans.It almost as if he was trying to provoke someThing at the interview from the fans. Deon give some credit to the fans who actually have "real jobs" and pay for those tickets and make the NFL what it is today. That includes Philly fans who are more known for their passion and desire for a winner then you are for your play that has now been forgotten.

Hey phillyjhawk like him or not he's right, Phiily fans are passionate not knowledgeable, they had a fit on draft day when we got McNabb, instead Eagles fans wanted Ricky Williams WHEN IT WAS CLEAR THE TEAM NEEDED A QB. We already had a 1000 yard back on our roster at the time. They boo McNabb who is caught up in a system that is designed to beat a team that is no longer an elite presence. (The 2000 Rams). The system Reid runs is out of balance, look what happen when he does actually call run plays, all of a sudden Mcnabb looks great because teams have to repect the run. So just because he played for the Cowboys and you don't like his style, the bottom line is he is correct, Philly fans are like children learning the game, or like the pretty girl who keeps winning the office pool because she picks teams based in the color of their uniforms. Oh and by the way, you don't have to tackle when your opponents don't throw the ball to your side because you shut down their wideout. That's why he didn't tackle !!

Dione might have been a great cover man and punt returner, but a football player he was not. He ran for his life out of fear. He didn't like to tackle or get hit and his touchdown dances were the lamest of all time. His dancing matched his singing and that is like listening to his ears flapping in a wind storm. Deion has no business speaking for anybody. He hasn't a clue about Philly fans and should just stick to promoting himself and his crack head cowgirls.

It's to bad that the loud mouth negatives get all the publicity. Boos or cheers though, the Eagles allways sell out, the Phils set records for attendance this year, the Flyers and Sixers sell plenty of tickets. I wonder if these guys could make millions if the boobirds weren't in the stands. For all of you morons that "hate" Sanders, off the field when he played, he always had time for kids and autographs and a minute of time. Any body who would not have wanted Sanders on your team in his prime is an idiot-there has never been a better corner-ever. McNabb is a capable QB when the game plan and personnel are there to play with him. One last comment-pay me tem mil per yr and I'll let people BOOO me for a long time-noproblem!

Deion Sanders was also the MORON dancing around the field like he was having a celebration when Michael Irvin went down in Philly. That charade drew more boos than anything Irvin ever did. Giant fans booed Eli plenty from '05 thru '07, up until he won the Super Bowl. Patriot fans booed them while they were getting blown out by the Dolphins this season....it's part of playing in the northeast, where fans are full of passion & emotion. Also, Reid has taken far more grief than McNabb for their recent struggles, & rightfully so. Bottom line, turn the ball over 7 times in 7 quarters, you deserve to receive criticism....you just have to suck it up, & move forward, like he did last night. And suckups like Princess Neion need to stop rehashing it....

We hate Freon Deon because he is the most overrated superstar in history - his greatest "talent" was his speed, which allowed him to get far more credit than his complete and utter ability at basic skills like tackling would have otherwise gotten him. Oh, and his completely classless move in dumping water on McCarver for questioning his commitment to his baseball team, and lets not forget his DEFENDING Vick's dogfighting operation! This moron still doesn't get it.

by reading the majority of these post guess what? Deion's correct. Alot of Philly fans are moronic. There is a thin line between being passionate & flat out stupidity. But hypocritical fans just doesn't get it. But as a transplant Philadelphian who lives in Orlando,I'll tell ya that the Philly fans down here are worse. It's like they have to uphold some silly stereotype of Philly fan. As for you Mcnabb haters, the most accurate qb in franchise history should tell you the state of QB play the Birds had before him. One more thing please do you homework, look up the stats of all the modern era qb's in the hof & guess what? Donnie's numbers are comparable if not better across the board. Ironically passer rating & here here, completion percentage. But as I like to say "stats don't lie, but they don't always tell the truth! Take it for what it's worth!

I really get tired of all the bull about booing McNabb at the draft. The fans, while wrong to do it, were booing the choice. They wanted Rickie Williams. Aren't we all glad they didn't take him. The press and people like Deion will never forget it like they never forget about throwing snowballs at Santa. To all of you talking about how Philly fans "boo". You may as well just get used to it. We boo when we are not pleased with a player's performance. Especially when we know that he can do better. Philly has the most passionate fans anywhere in my opinion. Just as much or even more than we boo, we cheer. Very loudly, with deep and thankful passion. I think that I only know one person who says that he "hates" the Eagles, and is totally done with them. The real fans come back every season and supports their team. No matter if they booed a player at the Linc because he was playing like a first grader. Real fans are fans for life. And Philly has some of the best dedicated fans out there.

Deion Sanders? Please...no Deion didn't care about Philly fans when he played...because he was too busy hot dogging, show boating, and promoting himself to care about anything else...I'm so sick of reading ignorant quotes from shallow boneheads like Sanders...no one booed McNabb on draft day, the boos were directed at the decision to draft anyone over, what some people thought was, a more pressing need for a dominating running back in Ricky Williams. Cooler and more experienced heads prevailed and the vast majority of Eagle fans have overtly supported Donavan throughout his career...so kiss our collective butts Deion, no one really cares what your self-serving peabrain pukes up....it is sad and pathetic that money doesn't seem to have taken the ghetto out of Reverend Deion.

Deion is correct, many of those who cheer McNabb on one day, are also those who are shouting for his head on another. Many, not all, Eagle fans are fickle and childish - for them, you are only as good as your last win, and whatever the circumstances, you must win or they will pounce on you. Not to say McNabb or anyone should get a pass on critizism - if it's constructive - but all that hate is unnecessary. And the unsaid in Dion's remarks goes to race - would a non-minority quarterback with similar skill-set get the abuse D-Mac does? Well, we may never know until Mac's gone. Let's see how long the Kolb love-fest lasts in a loosing season.

Deon Sanders is an idiot. He is an agent of the Cowgirls. He causes controversy in NFC teams other than the Cowgirls. Read some of the blogs from the Giants fans. Before Deon was born Eagles fans have always been the most passionate. We criticize our players and teams cause we want them to get better. If we were parents the liberals would call us child abusers. But for a blue collar town and people who earn every cent we expect our teams and players to give 100%. Not to make bonehead mistakes and clown around while we pay 3 days of pay for a ticket to the game. Generally speaking.

clarku, go lay down in traffic. deion represented everything bad that has happened in sports and these prima donna athletes, and it all started with him, his me me attitude, never playing for the team. and he's not the best punt returner in history, moron, that would belong to brian mitchell or even dave meggett. and his tv work? sorry, but i'm pretty sure the other crackhead michael irvin did that years before, you know, before he got arrested. again. just like deion. "prime time" was a good athlete who played football, never was a football player. he was afraid of getting hit. if deion played today he would be benched or playing in the arena league with that nonsense. or in jail, with pacman jones. you better wash that TO jersey of yours so you can cry on it when the eagles win the super bowl.
