DeSean Jackson confirmed that he no longer has Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, but said that he hasn't decided on a new agent, despite an Inquirer report that he is eyeing rapper Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.
"I don't know right now," Jackson said when asked about his interest in Jay-Z agency. "It's a lot of thoughts. The [reports] are what they are, but coming out of my mouth, I don't know yet."
Jackson owns a record label and has dabbled in rap. He was asked if hiring Jay-Z could help with his aspirations in the music industry.
"I don't know, what do you think?" Jackson said. "I don't know, man. Might be."
There have been reports that Jackson could return to Rosenhaus, as teammate LeSean McCoy did a few years ago after he left the agent twice in a month. Multiple NFL insiders, though, believe the relationship has been severed permanently.
Jackson cited "personal issues" as reasons for parting with Rosenhaus.
"I think the best thing for me was to move different ways," Jackson said. "Not to bad talk anyone ... but for myself, I just think that was the best thing for me to do. I just really look forward to this big year. This year coming up is going to be a huge year for this team, myself."
