DJax Offensive Player of the Week

DeSean Jackson, who once again expressed his desire for a new contract last night on the T.Ocho Show, will be named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his 4-catch, 210-yard performance Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles said. This will be the second time Jackson has won the honor this season, along with the Oct. 26 game at Washington. ****** The Eagles will miss Giants wide receiver Steve Smith again. Smith will be placed on injured reserve with season-ending knee surgery to repair cartilage damage.
