Chung doubtful for Broncos; Wolff likely to start

Eagles safety Patrick Chung was listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos after missing his fourth straight day of practice with a shoulder injury.

Rookie Earl Wolff is expected to start in Chung's place if he can't play.

Wolff said on Thursday that he had taken the majority of first team practice repetitions along with regular starter Nate Allen. Kurt Coleman and Colt Anderson are the backups.

Chung suffered a shoulder contusion against the Chiefs last Thursday. Wolff has played consistently since the season opener and was splitting time with Allen in the last two games. Sunday's game would be his first career start. The Eagles are likely to make a decision on Chung's availability tomorrow before they travel.

The Eagles are 11-point underdogs to the Broncos. Quarterback Peyton Manning has completed 73 percent of his passes in the first three games and is playing some of the best football of his career. Wolff and the rest of the Eagles defense have a great challenge.

Tackle Jason Peters, listed as probable, was the only other Eagles player listed on Friday's injury report. He re-injured a dislocated finger against the Chiefs.
