Adam 'Pacman' Jones arrested again
The real Pac-Man, the star of Namco’s famous arcade game, had three lives before it was game over.
After his latest arrest, this time on disorderly conduct as a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for speeding, Adam 'Pacman' Jones is on his eighth life, yet still in the game.
More from WCPO Cincinnati:
Jones was cited for disorderly conduct after a 2013 Dodge Durango he was a passenger in was pulled over on State Route 125 near mile marker 1 in Cincinnati at about 2:30 am., authorities said.
The driver of that vehicle, Tishana F. Holmes, 33, was stopped for driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Holmes, who had a Georgia driver's license, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. According to the OSP police report, Holmes refused a field sobriety test.
During the stop, Jones was then arrested for the disorderly charge. Both OVI and disorderly conduct are misdemeanor charges.
Jones had already missed the entire 2008 season due to an incident at a Las Vegas strip club and recently appeared in court to plead not-guilty on a for a June 10 arrest for punching a woman outside of a Cincinnati bar.
At 30 years old and with more arrests as a pro (eight) than interceptions (five), it will be interesting to see if this Pacman finally gets unplugged.
