Phew, that is one ugly list. Better hope the Birds nail this draft.

Hmmm...I'd still make an aggressive offer to Darren Sharper, even with M. Jackson's signing. And Tyler Brayton over Charles Grant? Not too sure about that...Brayton's only a year younger and hasn't ever had a 10 sack season (Grant's had 2).

Derek Anderson is the best QB available. No way either Delhomme or Culpepper have anything left to give as a starter....Delhomme however would be a quality back up I think. But the lack of talent there certainly helps the Eagles ability to dump 2 of their 3. Pick up Delhomme to back up Kolb and dump the other two for a boatload of picks and/or a pass rusher.

I agree with JLB, make a run at Sharper. He is certainly better than what we have now. He could be a low risk, high reward

see...looking at the list, no wonder the birds haven't signed anyone significant.

RB shelf life in the NFL is just crazy. 2-3 years ago LT, Westbrook, LJ and Willie Parker were among the league's most coveted backs, and now they're all out of work

It's weird seeing LJ Smith on that list. He had flashes of greatness for us and now he's unwanted.

Maybe we could sign a 4th qb to add to the mix. Sharper is coming off of surgery, so he would fit right in.

Pick up Fraley in case Jackson isn't ready to go next year.

Kevin Mawae, Titans - He would be good insurance if J Jackson isn't healthy. Keith Bulluck used to be a tackling machine and could play the strongside but I don't know if he has much gas left. All the players on this list would be stop-gap one year rental type additions at best.
