I have a baseball hangover. My head aches. I've been engrossed in the Phillies since April. And now what am I going to do at night? Watch a movie? Catch up on Dexter and Californication? Actually go to bed early?

So what to do now? I guess there's nothing left to do but watch the Eagles. Oh, wait. I have to do that.
By the way, I got to the NovaCare early this morning and heard some rumbling coming from upstairs. It sounded as if someone was doing the worm up and down the corridors.

The worm? Wow. I hadn't thought of the worm since the '80s. Bad memories of high school dances.
For some reason, I'm thinking the Bear could do the worm. True, Brookie?

I'm more of a tango guy. Used to eat the worm, however. Philadelphia fans are fortunate. The Phillies are done, but two of the three teams still playing have a chance for a title. Neither is favored, but the Eagles and Flyers at least have a chance.

I think the Philly team with the best chance at the next title just lost the World Series.

Since it apparently is confession time, I was a ballerina as a kid. And, I took ballroom dancing. My mom made me. It was a rite of passage in the South, kind of like going to the Vet.
I really wanted to see another parade. And what if Utley had broken Reggie Jackson's home run record? Imagine what he would have said when the parade reached the Bank. At least I can envision it. An Eagles championship parade? Just can't see that one happening.
