RUN OFFENSE
Brian Westbrook averaged 4.8 yards per carry and the Eagles had two rushing TDs for only the second time in 14 games.
Grade: B-plus
PASS OFFENSE
Donovan McNabb had one of the best Week 1 performances of his career and the Eagles had three 100-yard receivers for the first time in nearly a half-century. And not a single sack allowed.
Grade: A-plus
RUN DEFENSE
Rams ran the ball only 15 times because they had to play catch-up. But Eagles held Steven Jackson to just 2.9 yards per carry and the Rams to one rushing first down.
Grade: A-plus
PASS DEFENSE
The bad news is the Eagles dropped three interceptions. The good news is they held Marc Bulger to 6.07 yards per attempt and Torry Holt to one catch for 9 yards.
Grade: A-minus
SPECIAL TEAMS
DeSean Jackson had three double-digit punt returns, including a 60-yarder. Speedy Quintin Demps helped down two Sav Rocca punts at the 2. Eagles coverage units were impressive.
Grade: A-plus
OVERALL
Except for blowing those takeaway opportunities, Eagles played a practically perfect game against a practically awful Rams team.
Grade: A
