An arbitrator ruled that DeSean Jackson owes former agent Drew Rosenhaus $516,415 in loans and fees, sources close to the situation told The Inquirer.

Rosenhaus had filed a grievance with the NFL Players Association last June, claiming that the former Eagles wide receiver owed him more than $700,000 in unpaid loans and fees.

Arbitrator Roger Kaplan, using the NFLPA's agent regulations, announced his decision on Tuesday.

Jackson plans to appeal the ruling, according to his spokeswoman. Rosenhaus had no comment Wednesday.

Jackson left Rosenhaus last spring. He signed with his current agent, Joel Segal, not long after leaving Rosenhaus. Segal negotiated a three-year, $24 million contract with $16 million guaranteed with the Washington Redskins earlier this month after the Eagles shocked many by releasing Jackson.

Rosenhaus was hired by Jackson in November 2010. In March 2012, the Eagles signed Jackson to a five-year, $48 million contract with $15 million guaranteed. Jackson played the first two years of the deal before coach Chip Kelly and the Eagles cut him last month.

Jackson, 27, caught 82 passes for a career-high 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns last season. Kelly and the Eagles have not publicly spoken about Jackson since his release.
