Michael Vick’s tenure in Philadelphia is officially over.

The former Eagles quarterback has signed a contract with the New York Jets, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal is reportedly for one year and is worth $5 million.

Soon after Schefter reported the news, the Jets tweeted out a photo of Vick signing his new deal.

Moments before signing Vick to a deal, the Jets released former first-round pick Mark Sanchez.

Vick played five seasons for the Eagles and led the team to the division title in 2010.

More on this still to come…
